Gold Coast Dyes is a one-woman textile design studio specializing in loungewear and accessories that make a bold statement through a modern twist on a nostalgic art. Each piece is dyed by hand, and adds a cheerful pop of color to any wardrobe or kitchen in need of a cheeky pick-me-up.

Founded by Christina "Mo" Vázquez Mauricio, Gold Coast Dyes was born during the first wave of the pandemic while making care packages for friends and family full of colorfully-dyed aprons, kitchen towels, and t-shirts. In the span of a few months (and with all of the extra dye!), Mo built an independent business that began in her kitchen and quickly moved into her garage. Earth-friendly dyes and ethically-sourced materials magically come together day after day in serotonin-boosting designs that spark joy and are easy on the Earth.

In a short time, certain items and colorways have become instant Gold Coast Dyes signatures and form our core offering. These include our Sandstone, Material Girl, and Supernova loungewear sets, and our Azafrán, Compostela, and Medianoche rayon sarongs made from the finest Balinese bamboo. Names are deliberate here, and fuse music titles, pop culture, and world travel with the colors evoked by nostalgia, fond memories, and lived experiences.

While we operate primarily on a direct-to-consumer model through our online store, Gold Coast Dyes is also open for private label batch dyeing and runs of limited edition business merchandise. Through collaborations with other designers and creators, we take our in-house dyeing to the next level to make *your* vision come to life.

Gold Coast Dyes takes a very personal approach to every purchase and each order is handled with care. Whether you're buying for yourself or someone else, each package is meant to be an instant mood-booster. All orders can be shipped worldwide. And as Mo continues to expand her creative vision, we are engaged in giving back. Among the organizations to which Gold Coast Dyes has donated are The Barstool Fund, World Central Kitchen, and various local campaigns here in our local community.
